Acting for the Camera is a ten-week acting course that meets once a week in the evening. All scenes are chosen from film and television scripts. Two classes are focused on Auditioning for the Camera.
You will be able to take your work home on a stickdrive. Watching your work is an important part of the process.
This is not a beginning on-camera scene study acting class. Actors must have studied before and/or worked professionally.
Admission to class is by interview with me.
Good acting is good acting. However, working on camera requires skills that are different from acting in the theatre both artistically and technically. Here are some of the skills we will cover in this on camera scene study acting class:
- How to prepare a script before a shoot
- How to prepare with little or no rehearsals
- Hitting marks
- Acting | technical adjustments to different sized shots
- Working take after take
Private coaching is available for auditions, script preparation, and monologues.
